Terms and Conditions of Services Provided by Finnerty Graphics
Completion Date
Finnerty Graphics is not liable for not reaching a deadline due to circumstances beyond our control or due to lack of submission of required material by the customer. Finnerty Graphics will inform the Customer in cases where the deadline can’t be reached.
Copy / Photography / Graphic Creation
Text content and, if possible, photography will be supplied by the Customer. Photos should ideally be delivered in high resolution. Stock images can be provided at an agreed cost. Finnerty Graphics will create all required artwork. All copy should be provided in digital format. Transcription from non-digital media can be provided at a rate of €40 per hour.
Printing
The Customer agrees that they will check the final files for spelling mistakes or any other potential errors before approving for print. If approved, Finnerty Graphics will not
take responsibility for errors that come to light once printing has been completed. Finnerty Graphics can’t guarantee that the final artwork will always be error-free and so Finnerty Graphics can’t be liable to you or any third party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising, even if you have advised us of the possibilities of such damages.
Final Artwork
Finnerty Graphics will maintain copies of all artwork files. Upon request, copies of artwork can be released to the Customer once they have been paid for in full.
Additional Expenses
The Customer agrees to reimburse Finnerty Graphics for any Customer requested expenses necessary for the completion of the project. This can be purchase of specific fonts or stock photography.
Ownership of Graphics
The Customer will own all work. The Customer guarantees to Finnerty Graphics that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other artwork that they provide Finnerty Graphics for inclusion in the designed, printed or manufactured materials are either owned by themselves, or that they have permission to use them. Likewise, the reverse will also apply to Finnerty Graphics.
Design Credit
The Customer also agrees that artwork generated on your behalf by Finnerty Graphics or photographs that we may take of completed projects may be included on our own website, social media accounts or other promotional materials.
Payments
Finnerty Graphics requires the following payment schedule for new customers:
- Sum of 30% of the price, inclusive of vat, prior to commencement of project.
- Remaining balance to be paid upon completion of project.
Returning Customers can pay the full amount upon project completion, unless otherwise agreed in advance of project commencing.
We prefer payments by bank transfer but also accept payments in cash, by cheque or by card.
